Yesterday I went with Tami, Joss, Susan, & Lauren to try my first round of steelhead fishing! Fly fishing at that! I have used a fly rod once and only for a little bit, so I had some learning to do. I also need to brush up on my knots!
It was a beautiful day. We had a great time and landed several dolly vardens, while Tami caught the only steelhead! Ah, well...I landed one of the dolly's, and had a good lesson on fly casting. It was another almost perfect day! (more fish would've made it perfect!)
