Seriously - If you want to know the truth, I have been on Facebook and blogging for the last 4 days or so in a manic state of excitement for my sister! They've met Isaiah and are actually in court at this very moment, I imagine! Actually it will be within this very hour and he will be a LeFevre forever! It's a very special day!
I've had the ache for their 3 kids they left at home. It seems that the oldest is a bit sad at how long this trip is taking and how far away her parents are with little communication between them. I understand. This is a big deal and I think she feels left out a little. It's hardest without the communication thing.
Pat's been gone almost 3 weeks and it's been surprisingly not terrible. Easy? No, just not terrible! I miss him terribly, but we text and talk multiple times a day. That has made all the difference in the world. So much so, we are looking at upgrading our super simple and barely hanging on phones in order to facilitate better communication in the future! No, I doubt we'll get overly fancy, and I know we won't do the uber-expensive smart phone plans, but better phones may just be worth it for us.
I wish I could give one to my niece! I try and call often and I know they are so busy with family and friends, but it's just not the same when she has such a special relationship with her mom and dad!
Well, the moose cow and calf keep visiting and I'm wondering when I'll have to run out and shoo them away from my prize flowers...I should take some pictures for you! Unfortunately, it's after my bedtime and it's actually getting dark! Yipee! (That's not sarcasm - it's genuine excitement for the short time of "normal" hours of daylight and darkness that confuse my sleep center every year!) On that note,
Welcome Isaiah Tadu LeFevre to our family!
