Yes, Pat's home! Well, sort-of. He came home last night and then went out today to go bear hunting for a couple days. I guess he'd relaxed enough for a bit and needed to stretch his legs. On behalf of our loyal blog readers (all 3 of you), I thought I'd post a little of what Pat did when he was gone. Since he's much more eloquent on the hunting end, I am saving those pictures for his return. I will share the "family" portion! Pat was able to see many of his nieces and nephews, and from what I heard, his arrival was much anticipated! He gave all the nephews a bear claw necklace (made from one of his bears), and the nieces received a fireweed or dragonfly charm necklace.
Pat got to meet Joshua for the first time! I heard they had a good bonding time!
Pat got to see Toby, Mia, and Cambria for the first time in a long time, and though Toby and Mia warmed right up, Cambria didn't know exactly what to do with that guy!
Pat had the opportunity to teach Hudson the intricate art of butchering. Just ask Rusty about Pat's skill with a knife. Fortunately, Hudson's got it here!
Pat was also able to celebrate Josh's birthday along with his parents!
Pat got to meet Joshua for the first time! I heard they had a good bonding time!
